Chad and Bree Stock MW are the powerhouse behind the limited production, additive-free, small farm wines of Limited Addition. What they make changes depending on the collaborations in any given year; inspired by the farmers responsible for Willamette’s diverse and sustainable wine landscape, and often working with grape varieties other than the mainstream of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. They work with Cabernet Franc form the Eola Springs Vineyard in the cool Willamette Valley, making three different renditions of it in 2020; a pet nat, a seriously savory old-vine bottling and this lively field blend from younger vines. The beauty of the Eola Springs Vineyard is that its size provides an expansive range of soils, elevations, and aspects. This young field blend block of Cabernet Franc is grown on a northwest-facing slope on ancient marine sedimentary soils at the northern end of the site. The vines are planted at nearly twice the density of the old vine block. The fruit was harvested in mid-October and no whole cluster was used in 2020, so despite being lower in alcohol it also has present tannins, making the whole thing quite crunchy.

Taste & Experience
Although this is on the savory side, it is still a vibrant light red and can be enjoyed with a slight chill to give those summer red vibes. Alternatively, it performs great at the dinner table too with grilled octopus, moroccan spice or bbq lamb ribs
